The owner got in his car and drove 20 minutes to my place to deliver the correct order w no charge incurred. Just by that act alone, I could tell the owner was a good person and Italian. “ They truly have great sangweeches! Driving through Lyndhurt, NJ after a walk through DeKorte Park and we stopped in one hour before closing. No problem... we ordered two heros The Lyndhurst chicken cutlet, and my favorite turkey with roasted peppers and glaze balsamic. Delicious! ”

“ Stopped in for a sandwich. I am so glad that I did. I had the roast beef sandwich with their homemade fresh mozzarella. Theyre very polite woman behind the counter suggested I have it hot with au jus on the side. I took her suggestion. I was going to get it to go but then my stomach decided we should sit down and eat it right away! It smelled amazing, and tasted even better. I think anybody from New Jersey knows we have a few places that offer hot roast beef sandwiches with fresh mozzarella. I have to say this is without a doubt the best I personally have ever had in a very long time. Every part of the sandwich was amazing from the bread to the meat and their very own homemade fresh mozzarella. I also believe they offer a class or an opportunity to make their homemade mozzarella with them. Its a full service deli, chicken cutlets, cold cuts, etc. They also have a variety of some Italian delicacies and treats. One thing I took notice was that they actually have a fountain soda machine that serves cane sugar drinks. And while I try to stay away from sugar, when I do have a soda, having it with real cane sugar makes it all the better. I would give this place a try even if youre not in the area, its worth the trip. I know I will definitely be going back especially if I have a party or just hanging around watching football on Sunday. ”

“ Ive been to Vinnies Mootz a couple of times in the past and have always been blown away by the Fresh Mootz and their sandwiches. I have always heard about the pizza, but never tried it and decided today was the day. I stopped by and looked in to the pizza display case and noticed there was no cheesemargherita pizza. I asked but was told unfortunately there is none, but if Id like they have a great clam pie with roasted garlic. It wasnt quite what I was craving, but, it looked fresh and I am a sucker for roasted garlic so I ordered it. As I was waiting for my clam slice to warm up, I asked if there was any fresh cheese coming out and the young man hesitated at first, but then told me if Im willing to wait 15 minutes for me, hed make it. I LOVE THAT!! It is so important to go above and beyond and having that awareness and being able to add those little personal touches is what sets this establishment apart from the next one. My clam slice was warmed up and handed to me, and it was good, but needed a little more oomph! I suggest a roasted garlic spreadbase under the cheese, topped with clam sauce and a drizzle of olive oil, red pepper flakes, and parsley at the end to round out the flavors. Maybe even a sprinkle of lemon zest! Shortly thereafter, the young man asked me what I thought of the clam slice and I gave him my honest feedback. He was genuinely interested and said it was the first time theyve ever made it. His humbleness was incredibly apparent and once again, that sort of demeanor is so refreshing. The cheese pie came out and he came from around the counter to hand me my box, thanked me, and wished me a nice weekend! All of this seems so simple doesnt it? Im a veteran of the pizza and food business with over 25 years of experience and what I can tell you is, that service like this, is actually pretty rare. I know from my prior visits that this young man is Matteo, the owners son, and to me, that makes this experience 10x better. Why, you may ask? The fact that the owners son is this hospitable, earnest, down to earth, caring, and polite is really an anomaly. I have always been brought back by the food, but I am now additionally going to be brought back due to the customer service. In this business, its the little details that make the experience and the guest return and give word of mouth which is more valuable than influencers. “ A truly beautiful delicious experience this spot hand pulls its mozzarella in house daily! Needless to say I was so impressed, the quality really speaks for itself. I had the lucky lady a delicious chicken cutlet, crispy with fresh mozzarella balsamic , roasted red peppers , I was in heaven . Plus the bread was definitely something to write home about!
